Eleport, a key player in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has partnered with Carrefour, Poland’s largest omnichannel network, to enhance the accessibility of electric vehicle charging stations across Poland. This strategic agreement will see the installation of 170 charging points at over 70 Carrefour commercial facilities in 65 cities, promoting the use of eco-friendly transportation methods. The initiative aligns with Carrefour’s “Carrefour 2026” strategic plan, which aims to accelerate the company’s transformation by increasing customer accessibility, fostering sustainable development, and reducing CO2 emissions. Agata Kopytyńska, Director of Real Estate at Carrefour Polska, emphasizes that this partnership will bring the company closer to its customers by encouraging the adoption of ecological solutions, aligning with current economic and environmental goals.

For Eleport, this collaboration marks a significant advancement in their efforts to expand the electric vehicle market in Poland. Paweł Doleciński, Sales Director at Eleport, highlights the mutual commitment to building environmentally friendly transport solutions as a cornerstone of this partnership. Preparations for installation are underway, with the first charging points expected to be operational later this year and full deployment anticipated by next year.
