The Škoda Elroq, set for its world premiere in autumn 2024, is poised to expand Škoda Auto’s all-electric SUV range into the compact SUV segment, Europe’s largest by volume. The Elroq stands out with its adoption of Škoda’s new Modern Solid design language, which enhances its exterior aesthetics while offering practical features such as a luggage capacity ranging from 470 to 1,580 litres. Designed for both urban and long-distance driving, it boasts a power output between 125 kW and 220 kW and a range exceeding 560 km, with a charging time under 28 minutes. The Elroq marks the beginning of Škoda’s ambitious BEV campaign, aiming to introduce six new battery-electric models in the coming years.
Strategically positioned between the Škoda Enyaq family and the upcoming Škoda Epiq, the Elroq is the electric alternative to the Škoda Karoq. Its compact size and small turning circle make it ideal for city driving, while its robust design and optional all-wheel drive cater to off-road adventures. The Elroq’s interior, characterized by simplicity and spaciousness, features advanced technology such as a 5-inch Digital Cockpit, a 13-inch infotainment display, and optional Augmented Reality visualizations. Sustainable materials are emphasized in the interior design, with options like Recytitan fibre upholstery. Built on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit, the Elroq offers four powertrain variants, each supporting DC fast-charging and AC charging, ensuring flexibility and convenience for all driving needs.
