Denza, originally a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, is now primarily controlled by BYD, positioning it as a global high-end brand with a growing model lineup. The Z9 GT wagon, designed by Audi veteran Wolfgang Egger, offers cutting-edge technology and comfort, such as air suspension, frameless doors, and a rear axle that can turn up to 20 degrees. The PHEV version features a combined range of up to 1,100 km, while the BEV version offers a range of 630 km and rapid acceleration. The Z9 GT is offered in five trim levels, with prices ranging from 339,800 to 419,800 yuan. Deliveries are expected to begin in September, with the vehicle set to compete against models like the Zeekr 001 domestically and the Porsche Panamera in Europe.
