ADS-TEC Energy and Paragon Mobility have entered into a significant partnership, deploying their first series of ultra-fast, battery-buffered EV charging stations across France. With France registering over 206,000 new electric vehicles since 2024, this collaboration marks an important milestone in developing the country’s charging infrastructure. Paragon Mobility, based in Sophia Antipolis, focuses on offering flexible, high-quality, and sustainable energy solutions, having developed its own fast-charging technology. The deployment of ADS-TEC Energy’s ChargePost is key to their strategy, offering rapid charging for two vehicles simultaneously and incorporating innovative features like large LED displays for advertising and battery storage units that can support bidirectional energy flow and stabilize weak grid connections.
The partnership aims to make EV charging more efficient, scalable, and affordable while improving customer satisfaction and acceptance in the growing EV market. Paragon Mobility’s vision includes supporting various electric vehicles, from buses to trucks, with ChargePost and ChargeBox systems. Their focus on optimizing energy usage with renewable resources also aligns with their broader sustainability goals. This venture has earned Paragon Mobility recognition, including the inclusion of its CEO, Jean Lemaire, on notable awards lists and partnerships with prominent figures like ex-F1 driver Sebastien Buemi. The company is poised to further accelerate the energy transition in France, drawing attention from top-tier clients and continuing its upward trajectory in the clean energy sector.
