Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is ushering in a new era of electrification with the launch of the e-Transporter and e-Caravelle, marking a significant step toward sustainable mobility. These all-electric models offer a range of power outputs, starting from 85 kW and going up to 210 kW, catering to diverse transportation needs. Designed with rear-wheel drive, they come equipped with a net battery capacity of up to 64 kWh, ensuring efficiency and reliability. The introduction of these electric variants highlights Volkswagen’s commitment to reducing emissions while maintaining the versatility and practicality expected from the Transporter and Caravelle lines.
Beyond performance, the electric models boast enhanced space and functionality, aligning with the growing demand for eco-friendly commercial vehicles. The e-Transporter offers multiple configurations, including panel van, Kombi, and dropside versions, with varying roof heights and wheelbases. These enhancements contribute to a maximum payload capacity of up to 1.33 tonnes and a towing capability of 2.8 tonnes, surpassing previous iterations. Standard features include a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, offering seamless connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
