Kempower has introduced an upgraded version of its Station Charger, integrating the advanced Kempower Power Module V2. This latest enhancement brings improved efficiency and reliability, leveraging silicon carbide (SiC) technology to optimize performance. The structural redesign of the charger’s cabinet aligns with Kempower’s existing Power Unit, ensuring superior cooling, air filtration, and environmental resistance. Additionally, the inclusion of both DC and AC energy meters allows for precise energy tracking, meeting the growing need for accurate energy management in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
With its modular design, the new Kempower Station Charger is adaptable for various applications, including bus and truck depots as well as service stations. The charger incorporates dynamic power distribution, ensuring optimal efficiency by rerouting power module channels as needed. Enhanced cable management keeps charging cables off the ground, improving durability and ease of use. Supporting multiple charging standards such as CCS2, CHAdeMO, and Type 2 AC, the Station Charger is available in 500V and 800V versions, offering charging power from 50 kW to 400 kW. These features make it a highly versatile and future-proof solution for the growing EV industry. Beyond its technological advancements, the Kempower Station Charger complies with the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), with the option to integrate card payment terminals for seamless transactions. Its robust design ensures durability in various environmental conditions, while the user-friendly installation process simplifies deployment. The charger has already gained significant traction in multiple countries, including Finland, Sweden, the U.S., and Australia, highlighting its global appeal as a reliable and efficient charging solution that supports the transition to electric mobility.
