BMW is developing a completely new technological platform for the Neue Klasse series. The newly developed head-up display projects images across the windscreen, providing a unique interaction and information surface. With this new display, called BMW Panoramic Vision, the windscreen of the vehicle is transformed into a single gigantic screen. By projecting the information of the driver’s choice onto this screen, he can view the data he wants without taking his eyes off the road.
The company, which sets out with the slogan “Eyes on the road, hands on the steering wheel”, transforms the windscreen into a useful screen with innovative projection technology. According to the statement made by the company, the images are projected on the dark coated area at the bottom of the windscreen. These high-contrast images enable the driver to see the information they need without taking their eyes off.
