IONNA Launches Operations of Robust Electric Vehicle Charging Network in North America

IONNA seeks to elevate customer satisfaction and comfort during the charging process.

IONNA aims to deploy at least 30,000 chargers, with the first stations expected to open in the U.S. in 2024, followed by expansion into Canada. The venture recently received regulatory approval, marking a crucial milestone in its mission to establish a reliable and affordable electric vehicle charging network.

IONNA assumes offering one of the most accessible and reliable high-powered charging networks, compatible with NACS or CCS connectors, will aim to provide a seamless, charging experience in North America. By including amenities such as restrooms, food service, and retail operations, IONNA seeks to improve customer satisfaction and comfort during the charging process.

IONNA’s sustainability goals are reflected in their intention to power charging stations using renewable energy sources. The network plans to install strategically located charging stations throughout North America, seamlessly supporting long-distance journeys while aligning with the sustainability strategies of the participating automakers.
