A Stylish and High-Tech Evolution in Electric Mobility
Renault has introduced an exciting upgrade to its Megane E-Tech electric line-up. Now featuring a new Esprit Alpine trim alongside the existing Techno and Iconic versions. This new addition enhances the model’s sporty appeal while maintaining its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Manufactured in France’s ElectriCity facility in Douai, the Megane E-Tech electric continues to set the benchmark in the EV segment. With advanced features like One Pedal driving, an 11 kW bidirectional charger, and Plug & Charge technology, this refreshed line-up offers a seamless and eco-friendly driving experience.
Esprit Alpine: A Sporty Upgrade with Distinctive Design
Positioned between the Techno and Iconic trims, the Esprit Alpine version brings a bold and dynamic edge to the Megane E-Tech electric. The exterior boasts a Matte Shadow Grey finish, Ice Black alloy wheels, and Gloss Black window trims, creating a sleek, aggressive look. Exclusive badges and tinted logos add to its premium sporty aesthetics. Inside, the cockpit and seats feature black embossed fabric with blue stitching, blending comfort with performance-oriented design. These elements, made from recycled materials, underscore Renault’s dedication to sustainability.
Advanced Technology for a Smooth and Efficient Drive
The One Pedal driving feature, developed by Ampere, enhances driving comfort by allowing acceleration and braking with a single pedal. This increases energy efficiency and reduces brake wear, making urban driving smoother. Additionally, the 11 kW bidirectional charger, standard on all trims, enables the vehicle to supply power to external devices. Even feed energy back into the grid using V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology. The Plug & Charge function further simplifies charging, allowing seamless authentication and payment at compatible DC charging stations.
A Refined Line-Up with Long-Range Capability
With the addition of the Esprit Alpine trim, the Megane E-Tech electric now offers three distinct versions, all powered by a 220 bhp electric motor and a long-range battery capable of up to 468 km (WLTP). This update cements Renault’s position as a leader in EV innovation, combining performance, technology, and sustainability in an elegant and practical package. The new Megane E-Tech electric line-up is now available for order, with pricing details varying by country.
